What A Day - Clarence The Big Red Flag

A New York Times report published Sunday revealed Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas’s involvement in the exclusive Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans. According to the The Times, Justice Thomas’s three decade membership granted him access to benefits – many unreported – from wealthy members and friends.

Last Friday, the Dutch government collapsed after the parties in its ruling coalition failed to agree on migration policy. A general election will be held this fall, and in the meantime, Prime Minister Mark Rutte and his government will continue operating in a caretaker capacity.

And in headlines: U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has warned that Sudan is on the brink of a full-scale civil war, Tennessee’s ban on gender-affirming care for trans youth can take effect immediately, and Tracy Chapman has made music history.

The Daily Signal - INTERVIEW | ‘Demonizing the First Amendment’: Louisiana Official Blasts Legacy Media Coverage of Biden Big Tech Case

Last week, a federal judge ordered the Biden administration to stop strong-arming Big Tech into silencing Americans' free speech online in a first-of-its-kind temporary injunction. Rather than celebrating this move to uphold free speech, many legacy media outlets appear to be demonizing the very idea of protecting speech from government censorship, according to one of the lead attorneys in the case.

Liz Murrill, the solicitor general of Louisiana and co-counsel in the case Missouri v. Biden, spoke with The Daily Signal about the "misinformation or disinformation censorship complex" and criticized media outlets for suggesting that this censorship apparatus is a good thing.

Short Wave - The Only Nuclear-Powered Passenger Ship EVER

In the Port of Baltimore, a ship is docked that hasn't transported passengers for more than 50 years. It's the NS Savannah and it's designated a National Historic Landmark. That's because it was the first—and only—nuclear-powered passenger ship to have ever been built. Science correspondent Geoff Brumfiel tells us about his recent tour of the ship and why it was a symbol of peace in it's time.
