First Things Podcast - The Truth About Sexual Transition
Consider This from NPR - Can Kamala Harris find her footing on immigration?
It puts the Vice President in a tricky spot. She's got to run on President Biden's achievements, while avoiding the more challenging aspects of his record.
Biden entrusted Harris with some of the most challenging parts of his portfolio, including voting rights, the rollback of reproductive rights and immigration.
Harris has struggled to find her footing on immigration. Early on, she faced criticism for having not visited the southern border.
As Republicans like Texas Governor Greg Abbott started bussing migrants to northern cities, the Vice President's mansion in Washington DC became a drop-off point.
Even though Kamala Harris isn't yet the official nominee, both voters and the republican party will force her to answer for the Biden administration's immigration policies in this year's election.

1A - ‘If You Can Keep It’: Joe Biden is out. What’s Next For the Democratic Party?
President Biden wrote, "And while it has been my intention to seek reelection, I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling my duties as President for the remainder of the term."
He also said he would speak about it in greater detail later this week. Shortly after, he endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris to take his place.
We discuss how the decision affects the Democrats' chances of victory in November.

The Gist - Biden Out, Harris In, GOP Still Thinks They’ll Win
After party leaders, donors, and voters made clear that they didn't want Joe Biden running, this past weekend, the President bowed out. Vice President Kamala Harris is there to take the mantle. Benjamin Wallace-Wells, staff writer for The New Yorker, joins us to talk about the factors that contributed to Biden's decision, the opportunities for Harris to make inroads, and if other Democratic politicians really wanted the job. Plus, how Harris can credibly answer the charge that she's a failed "Border Czar." And does Harris' path to the nomination undercut the charge that Trump is the one who is a threat to democracy?
