Ukraine launched an unprecedented attack that sent drones deep inside Russia to target bombers. Russia’s strikes also accelerated as it launched the largest drone salvo of the war. Wildfires burning in western Canada are triggering poor air quality warnings in the upper Midwest, advising people with heart or lung disease, older adults and pregnant people to limit outdoor activities.
