An organization called America First Legal has filed at least two dozen lawsuits against the Biden administration. 

"We need to fight for the American people, advance conservative principles, and be there to really make a difference," Gene Hamilton, vice president and legal counsel for America First Legal, says.  

Hamilton served as counselor to the attorney general at the Justice Department during the Trump administration and he recalls growing weary of various leftist groups filing lawsuits to block President Donald Trump's agenda. 

“It's a little bit of an exaggeration …," Hamilton says, "but it's almost close to the truth that every time we'd have a press conference, there would be some organization that would file a lawsuit representing somebody to get us enjoined before we could even get done with the press conference to get things off the ground." 

When President Joe Biden came to office in January 2021, Hamilton and Stephen Miller, who was a senior advisor in the Trump administration, decided to “do what they do.” 

“Let's take the fight to them,” Hamilton says of America First Legal’s approach to fighting the policies of the Left. “Let's be equipped and ready to bring the battles to the Left, wherever it may be, whether that's in the government, whether that's in big business, big education, wherever.”

Sen. Josh Hawley believes that masculine, strong, virtuous men are needed more than ever in today’s society. That’s part of the reason that the Missouri Republican wrote his new book, “Manhood: The Masculine Virtues America Needs,” the senator said in an interview with The Daily Signal. 

“The masculine virtues are the virtues of a husband and a father, of a warrior and a builder, of a priest and a king,” Hawley explained, citing the chapters included in his book. “I really wrote the book for my boys. I’ve got two little boys at home, who are 10 and 8. I say ‘little’; I mean, they’re getting older now, but they’re 10 and 8. And I’ve got a baby girl.” 

The premise is simple, the senator said: “America needs strong men. It needs good men, and we should call men to be those things.” 

Corporate media, the entertainment industry, and leftist ideologues are all pushing the same message to young men, Hawley said—namely, that if you are a man, you are “toxic.”

“To be a man is to somehow, in and of itself, to contribute to the systemic injustice of America, so-called,” he said. “And I think this message is relentlessly driven at men today.”

Adam Josefczyk, the co-founder and president of the Forge Leadership Network, says the network, which was founded in 2015, "exists to mentor, train, and connect the next generation of conservative leaders" who are 18 to 25 years old. 

"We equip them in timeless principles, practical skills, and the legislative process in order to help them become the next statesmen and stateswomen in office, defenders of the Constitution and law, culture-shapers in ministry, and innovators in the marketplace," Josefczyk adds. 

The Forge Leadership Network has also "trained 500 young conservatives, ages 18 to 25," and has also "mentored the top 250 of those," according to Josefczyk.

The chief executive officer of the State Financial Officers Foundation says "we never really saw the [environmental, social, and governance] movement weaponized in a way that this White House and administration [have] weaponized it."

"Certainly, fund managers like BlackRock, State Street, Vanguard have weaponized it, and so it's really just been in the last two years that we've seen them use funds, like pension retirement funds, in a way that leverages those dollars to push these social agendas," Derek Kreifels says of the so-called ESG movement.

"And so, our simple premise and argument has been, if most Americans knew how their pension fund dollars were being invested, they would probably be appalled and shocked," Kreifels says. "And so, we launched a campaign called 'Our Money, Our Values.'"

Kreifels adds: 

It's available at our website OurMoneyOurValues.com, where we're trying to educate Main Street America on the dangers of ESG investing and what they can do specifically at the retail level to go to their neighborhood financial adviser and ask certain questions about the kind of fund managers that are managing their dollars and how to change that if there are companies that are managing dollars that they don't necessarily agree with their actions.
