Many times over Charlie Kirk’s life those that opposed the idea of anyone hearing his message would threaten disruption on College Campuses where Turning Point USA was attempting to hold an event. This would give the administrators just enough cover to pull the plug under concerns for ‘disruption.’ As the movement grew that became less frequent and as the “Prove Me Wrong” events welcomed opposing viewpoints it had seemingly gone the way of the dodo.

Well, it came back.

This time it was the Turning Point USA chapter at Western Albemarle High School that became the focal point of the threat as they scheduled Victoria Cobb, President of the Family Foundation, to visit with them on October 1. At first, the school pulled the plug citing, that’s right, concerns over ‘disruption.’ Not that the TPUSA meeting was going to be disruptive, no. That the ‘counter protest’ would be. It’s a classic. Then, just a 30 hours before her talk was scheduled to have taken place, the school reversed it’s position saying in a statement, “Following discussions with the student leader, and with

agreement on expectations to ensure the event is orderly, respectful, and concludes within the lunch period, the principal has determined that the Turning Point USA chapter at Western Albemarle High School may host its guest speaker during a regular lunchtime meeting,”

“James Comey, remember, also, he met with Donald Trump. And they had a confidential conversation. That's not in dispute. And James Comey assured the president of the United States that he was not the subject of an FBI investigation. That was false. Now, he may not have said that under oath, but he admitted he said that, and so did Donald Trump. 

“He lied to the president of the United States. And then what did he do? He took that conversation and ‘memorialized it.’ … He did not file them officially with the FBI. He put them in his private safe as safekeeping or insurance, so that he could embarrass the president of the United States, if he was ever threatened with firing.”

After President Donald Trump announced that the Department of Health and Human Services was recommending women abstain from taking Tylenol during pregnancy, some women with “Trump derangement syndrome” began taking the drug in videos shared to social media. 

 

“There is mounting evidence finding a connection between acetaminophen use during pregnancy and autism — and that’s why the Administration is courageously issuing this new health guidance,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said following the president’s announcement. 

 

Now, some pregnant women are ending up in the hospital after overdosing on Tylenol while, in defiance of Trump, aiming to prove that the drug is safe to take during pregnancy.

There are few, if any, more qualified to talk about America’s scourge of left-wing violence and the organizations that commit it than Assistant Attorney General ⁠Harmeet Dhillon⁠ who heads the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division.

In the wake of the assassination of Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University two weeks ago, President Donald Trump has activated his administration to confront these anarchists head on, going so far as to designate Antifa a “⁠domestic terrorist organization⁠.”

For more than a decade prior to taking her post at the Department of Justice, Dhillon was suing Antifa members and institutions that suppressed free speech due to the threat of left-wing violence on behalf of clients across the country. Democrats have failed the test of basic human empathy once again, from spreading falsehoods about who Charlie Kirk was to speaking ill of the dead.

With 118 Democrat House members refusing to honor Kirk's life, their response to his assassination has exposed their true colors. “ The House has a tradition, when major figures—political or in the media or in the popular culture—are gunned down, to express empathy. One of the more horrific things that happened, recently, was in Minnesota, when the speaker of the Minnesota Legislature and her husband were gunned down by a—he was a private citizen, angry over abortion. … Every single Republican went on record saying this is atrocious, that a gunman shot these very liberal, Democratic legislators in the state of liberal Minnesota. 

“ So, all people were trying to do after the death of Charlie Kirk, Representative Crockett, Representative Omar, Representative Ocasio-Cortez, just show a little sympathy, just put away the politics. And you failed that basic human test.”

The House of Representatives recently passed a resolution to honor the late Charlie Kirk—no thanks to 118 Democrats who voted against the measure, including Reps. Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Jasmine Crockett, and more.

Why did they snub Kirk, especially after the House unanimously passed a resolution commemorating the shooting of the Democrat speaker of the Minnesota State Legislature? Victor Davis Hanson breaks down how this refusal to honor a man who was just assassinated reflects a troubling shift in our politics where basic decency, civility, and bipartisanship are being replaced by ideological purity tests on today’s episode of “Victor Davis Hanson: In His Own Words.”

“ If you listen to what Ilhan Omar said about him, that he was a racist and he was a racist every day of his life. And AOC said she was not going to honor him. And Jasmine Crockett said Caucasians, only two Caucasians—that was not true, by the way, as everything she says is almost not true. 

“What they're angry about was—what was Charlie Kirk? I said in an earlier video, he was very successful in channeling the natural rebelliousness of youth to focus against the establishment. He's saying to young people: The establishment are baby boomer leftists and these are the people who are responsible for a lot of our unhappiness. And that's why they're angry. And he was also angry at racialists, tribalists—like Jasmine Crockett, like AOC, like Ilhan Omar—who self-identify, essentially, by their skin color or appearance rather than incidentally.”
