Earlier this year the guys traced the rise of the enigmatic financier and child abuser Jeffrey Epstein, discovering a quagmire of crime, corruption and cover-ups implicating some of the world’s most powerful individuals. It seemed Epstein’s connections effectively placed him above the law - at least, that is, until renewed public scrutiny and criminal investigations found Epstein arrested once again and, this time, placed in a real prison. Many speculated Epstein would never go to trial. On August 10th, he was found dead in what the media described as an “apparent suicide”. So what happened?

There is a contingent of the far left (if indeed they are that) that believes liberals fabricated the bulk of the Russia story in order to deflect from Democratic shortcomings. I explore this, and also take a look at what I believe to be the blatant hypocrisy of some of Greenwald's stances on this. In this episode, the Goods from the Woods Boys (Rivers, Sam, and Carter) sit down with the inimitable comedian and actor, Simon Gibson! This is Simon's first time on the show which is both long overdue and quite surprising since Simon lives next door to Disgraceland Studios. The first part of this episode is all about comedy and specifically comedian merchandise and road gimmicks. The boys chat about Simon's new podcast "Roommates for Life" with past guest of our show, M.K. Paulsen. We then get into the main story of the episode: An induction of an entire Missouri town into the Goods from the Woods Hall of Fame. Skidmore, MO had a problem with a town bully and, in 1981, they took care of the problem. The story is pretty violent up so, TRIGGER WARNING in advance if you don't like descriptions of blood and violence but we think the story is as compelling as it is entertaining (Plus it may be the inspiration for the last scene of 'Road House').
