Serious Inquiries Only - SIO104: Cornel West Owes Ta-Nehisi Coates an Apology

Ok so maybe the left is eating its own... After brushing by a couple points on the tax bill, I talk about a few instances of people on the left being unfairly demonized and harassed by other people on the left. It sucks. ContraPoints on YouTube seemed to me to be very affected by harassment over her decision to attend an event with Blaire White and Theryn Meyer. I talk briefly about that but then I move onto a bigger example that I discuss in depth, and that is Cornel West's hit-piece on Ta-Nehisi Coates. It's very straw-manny and disturbing to me. The Goods from the Woods - Episode #173 – “Holiday Spectacular 2017” with Grant Lyon and Neil Charles

In this VERY SPECIAL holiday episode, the GOods from the Woods Boys are visited by two guests of Christmas awesomeness. First up, Rivers and Dr. Pat adjourn to the coziness of the wintry chalet just up the road from Disgraceland to talk to a former Brooklyn Macy's seasonal worker, Neil Charles. Unsurprisingly, Neil is traumatized by Christmas and kinda hates it. Then, back at Disgraceland Studios, we chat it up with Christmas's #1 fan, comedian Grant Lyon. We talk about Christmas booze like cider and eggnog, favorite Christmas movies, and of course we hear some HILARIOUSLY AWFUL Christmas music (Korn has a Christmas song, y'all!). So, if you're at home and can't stand your family anymore or, if on this winter's night a traveler, hit play on this episode of The Goods from the Woods and get into the season or be justified in your hatred of it! Stuff They Don't Want You To Know - Charles Manson is Dead, Part 2

When authorities arrested members of the Manson Family for the Tate-LaBianca murders, they'd intended it to be the final chapter of a terrifying story. However, as the trial progressed, it quickly became evident that this was only the beginning of a much longer, stranger saga. In the years following the murder, conspiracy theories concerning Manson, his followers, the US government, splinter religions, secret drugs and the occult all proliferated wildly throughout the American zeitgeist. So do any of these theories have a grain of truth? Join the guys as they separate fact from folklore in the conclusion of this two-part series.

Congratulations to Doug Jones and thank you so much to black voters of Alabama for turning out and getting us 1 vote closer to taking back the Senate!!!! First up today I've got an update on the Patreon situation. They backed down, but I'm still going forward with a membership option on my website. I explain in more depth, and then I've got a fantastic conversation with Aaron Rabi of Embrace the Void! Due to a great response to the idea of me taking on the anti-natalism topic again, I endeavor to do so and I brought an actual philosopher along for the ride!
