The Goods from the Woods - Episode #171 – “David Hasselhoff”
In this episode, the Goods from the Woods Boys are daring to hassle "The 'Hoff". Dr. Pat leads this rousing episode all about the storied music career of the biggest hunk on the beach: David Hasselhoff. From his meteoric rise to the top of the German pop charts to the fortuitous fizzling of his career in the good ol' U.S.A. we sample Hasselhoff's 1994 greatest hits album, Looking for... the Best of David Hasselhoff. We also talk about WHY he's huge in Germany, his SUPER WEIRD autobiography, and the reason O.J. Simpson might just be the one responsible for killing his music career. This episode is one of our favorites and we sincerely hope you love it as much as we do! Song of the week this week: "You Get Me Hot" by Jimmy Bo Horne. Ologies with Alie Ward - Entomology (INSECTS) with Lila Higgins
Buuuugs. We cover perhaps Alie's favorite ology ever with an ologist who changed her life. Meet Lila Higgins: the self-professed "bug geek" with passion more infectious than a glassy winged sharpshooter mouth. (That will make sense later.) We talk about clowns in the forest, badgers, Hare Krishnas, solitary bugs vs. social ones, why wasps are such dicks and why it's totally fine to kiss a cockroach and eat a cricket.

The Goods from the Woods - Episode #170 – “Synesthesia” with Katrina Davis
In this episode, the Goods from the Woods Boys sit down with the absolutely hilarious comedian Katrina Davis! We talk about the most obscure shows in Nickelodeon history (Anyone remember Wienerville?) and why people in the early 90's were obsessed with dolphins. We also get into the new Jersey Shore sequel, Floribama Shore, gigantic feral goldfish, and the extremely interesting phenomenon of synesthesia; a condition in which one sense (for example, hearing) is simultaneously perceived as if by one or more additional senses such as sight. This episode is all over the place and it's a great time from start to finish. Be sure to follow Katrina on Twitter and all social media @KatrinaSivad.
