On Wednesday, the U.S. said that its war with Iran has only just begun. The war expanded again as Iran fired a drone into NATO territory, and the U.S. used a torpedo fired by a submarine to sink a warship for the first time since World War II. Israel continued waves of heavy airstrikes in Beirut after Hezbollah began firing on Israel in support of Iran. Nearly 85,000 people have been displaced, according to the Lebanese government. The Israeli military has also started a ground incursion into southern Lebanon, while Hezbollah chief Naim Qassem said that the group "will not surrender."
